So here is a few time savers that might help you this December to ease the stress in order to relax at the end of it.....
- Take advantage of the retail extended opening hours and do your shopping when there is not so many people shopping.
- Buy in Bulk. Santa doesn't buy a different gift for every single person and neither should you! Find a gift that you can give to a number of people that holds significance to you to give this holidays. A bottle of wine that you love or a piece of music with a special note shows that you have put thought into your gift giving and buying in bulk often means you can get a discount, win win!
- Don't be afraid to do a little cheating with Christmas dinner. Buying frozen roasted potatoes that you can just stick in the oven or ready made pavlova. It will save you hours in the kitchen and means you have more time to spend with the family relaxing, not in the kitchen slaving.
- Online shopping is your friend. Whether it be the grocery shop in time for the Christmas feast or presents shopping, online shopping can save you hours in the shopping centre. No having to find a park, dragging the kids along to shop with what seems like 5000 people! These days most of your local stores will have an online option so you can still support your local retailers, if not you may be able order over the phone and collect.
- Christmas wrapping paper. Got kids? Use their latest paintings to wrap up presents for friends and family. It will help you alleviate the 200 paintings you have from kindy and it adds a personal touch to your gift giving this year.
- Forgot to send out your Christmas cards this year? Jump on-line and send E-Cards, its easy, quick and you can often send it with a photo of the family for that personal touch and it means your doing your bit for saving the planet!
- Surprise visitors? On your big grocery shop before Christmas buy a couple of boxes of chocolates or a extra couple bottles of wine and have them under your Christmas tree for any unexpected guests. It will prevent that ummmmmm moment when they arrive with something and you have nothing and if you don't have any unexpected guests you know that another bottle of wine or more chocolate will never go astray....

We would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday season. Stay Safe and Merry Christmas from all of us at Fredericks Heywood.
